🇮🇪 Made in Italy in the Al Diriyah Mega Project

Work on Al Diriyah Has Already Begun.
Italian company Webuild, through its subsidiary Salini Saudi Arabia, has recently signed a €960 million contract for significant civil and structural works, including roads, tunnels, and related projects, as well as a massive multi-level underground parking facility with 10,500 spaces.
It has also been announced that Al Diriyah will feature an Armani Hotel among its other prestigious hotels. The renowned Italian designer and his team of architects will collaborate with the Al Diriyah Gate Development Authority to create this new Armani Hotel, the third after those in Milan and Dubai. The management will be handled by Emaar Hospitality Group.
Italy’s contribution to this mega project, particularly in terms of cultural and restoration expertise for the enhancement of historic sites, would be of immense value.
We truly hope that Made in Italy can make its mark!

Diriyah will be the Beverly Hills of Riyadh, the capital of lifestyle

Diriyah is one of the most expensive projects,
valued at $63 billion by the real estate consultancy Knight Frank.

It is also one of the most prestigious and includes the UNESCO World Heritage site of Al-Turaif, where the Al Saud family first founded a state in 1727.
With over 555,000 housing units, more than 275,000 hotel keys, over 4.3 million square meters of commercial space, and over 6.1 million square meters of new office space expected by 2030, the planned construction in the kingdom will easily make Saudi Arabia the largest construction site the world has ever known.

TRADITIONAL NAJDI ARCHITECTURE FUSED WITH MODERN URBANISM

At the heart of the master development plan lies the UNESCO World Heritage site of At-Turaif, one of Saudi Arabia's most important historical sites.
The iconic mudbrick city, which represents the original capital of the modern Kingdom and one of its first major settlements, as well as the birthplace of the ruling Al Saud family, is being preserved and protected to promote nearly 300 years of Arab history.

The regenerated district will immerse visitors in its heritage through museums, palaces, and archaeological monuments that have shaped the birthplace of the Kingdom.

The Sports Boulevard project, one of Riyadh's initiatives, is a network of green and safe walkways.

The FIFA World Cup 2034 will be held in Saudi Arabia from November 21 to December 18, 2034.
